2001 — Scientific Consultant, Carnival Parade (Brazil)
Served as Scientific Consultant for a double allegorical float - the first one with 40 meters long - of Beija-Flor de Nilópolis, Rio de Janeiro. The school’s annual theme of the Carnival of Rio of Janeiro of 2002 addressed the history of flight, and the float featured scientifically informed representations of pterosaurs, birds, and non-avian dinosaurs, developed to ensure anatomical coherence, evolutionary context, and visual accuracy for a broad public audience during Brazil’s largest cultural event.

2002 — Television Documentary (Brazil)
Acted as Scientific Consultant for an episode of Globo Repórter (Globo). The episode focused on Brazilian dinosaurs, highlighting multiple paleontological investigations nationwide, with special emphasis on dinosaur trackways from the Floresta dos Borbas ichnosite, Antenor Navarro Formation (Rio do Peixe Basin, northeastern Brazil). Contributions included contextual scientific guidance on ichnology, stratigraphy, and paleoenvironmental interpretation.

2005–2015 — Popular Science Magazine (Brazil)
Worked for a decade as Scientific Consultant to Revista Recreio (Editora Abril and Editora Caras). Provided recurring scientific review and content guidance for articles aimed at children and young readers, particularly on dinosaurs, pterosaurs, fossils, and Earth history, contributing to long-term science communication and outreach. Including the series "Paperssauros", focused on the pterosaur fauna from Brazil.

2007 — National Newspaper Science Feature (Brazil)
Served as Scientific Consultant for a full-page science article in the Ciência section of Folha de São Paulo. The report addressed a high-profile case involving a three-dimensionally preserved tapejarid pterosaur skull from the Romualdo Formation that was being illegally offered for sale online. Scientific input focused on taxonomic relevance, provenance, legal-ethical issues, and the scientific importance of Brazilian fossil heritage.

Featured in a double-page photo spread in Revista Época (Editora Globo). The article discussed excessive internet use and its cognitive impacts, citing my case in the context of giftedness and attention, emphasizing both challenges to concentration and the effective use of online information for scientific learning and research.

2013 — International Magazine (Russia)
Served as Scientific Consultant for a 16-page feature on Brazilian pterosaurs in National Geographic Russia. Responsibilities included scientific supervision of content and direct guidance to paleoartist Sergey Krasovskiy for multiple commissioned illustrations. The feature presented a double-page reconstruction of an undescribed pterosaur from the Romualdo Formation, based on specimen IMCF 1053, housed at the Iwaki Coal and Fossil Museum, Iwaki, Japan.

Acted as Scientific Consultant for National Geographic Germany on a feature dedicated to an exceptionally preserved three-dimensional pterosaur skull from the Romualdo Formation. The specimen is curated at the Naturkunde Museum Karlsruhe, Germany, and the consultation focused on cranial anatomy, preservation, and evolutionary significance.

Served as Scientific Consultant to Folha de São Paulo regarding coverage of a new tapejarid pterosaur skull from the Crato Formation. The fossil was the subject of a peer-reviewed study published in Scientific Reports, which also featured the specimen on the cover of the journal issue, bringing wide public attention to Brazilian pterosaur research.
